Transforming Public Broadcasting in Montenegro: New OTT Platform Announcement

In an era where the digital landscape is ever-evolving, the importance of accessibility and reliability in public service broadcasting has never been more crucial. Recognizing this imperative, More Screens, a leading software development company specializing in over-the-top (OTT) solutions, is proud to announce its recent partnership with Montenegro’s public service broadcaster. This collaboration marks a significant milestone, not just for both entities involved but for the Montenegrin public and potentially for other broadcasters considering the leap into digital transformation.

A Timeline for Progress

At More Screens, we are a seasoned player in software development known for our expertise in OTT IPTV solutions. We have set an ambitious yet meticulously planned schedule. Our goal is to launch a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) within four months, targeting a November launch date. This rapid timeline highlights our competence and commitment to delivering high-quality digital solutions efficiently.

The Importance of Public Broadcasters’ Platforms

Public service broadcasters play a crucial role in informing, educating, and entertaining the public. In the digital age, these platforms must evolve to meet changing audience habits. Our collaboration with Montenegro’s public service broadcaster signifies more than just a technological upgrade; it represents a step towards making information and educational content more accessible, interactive, and engaging.

Adaptability and Reach

The recent global crisis has underscored the urgency and significance of digital platforms. An example from Serbia during the COVID-19 lockdowns demonstrates how an OTT platform developed by More Screens facilitated the delivery of the school curriculum, showcasing the potential impact of Montenegro’s new OTT platform on public service delivery in various scenarios.

Looking Ahead

Our project in Montenegro isn’t solely about transitioning current programming to digital platforms; it’s about laying the groundwork for future innovations in public broadcasting. This initiative aims to offer a range of services, from live streaming to on-demand content, in a seamless, user-friendly manner that enhances the viewer experience.

For other public broadcasters considering OTT services or refining their digital offerings, our collaboration with Montenegro’s public service broadcaster serves as a model. It highlights the power of forward-thinking partnerships and modern technology to enhance public broadcasting services significantly.

In conclusion, our commitment to launching a new OTT platform for Montenegro’s public service broadcaster by November is a promising development that aims to improve how the public consumes media. More Screens is at the forefront of this digital transformation, showcasing that with our expertise and vision, public broadcasting can flourish in the digital age
